Yes we are still alive...we've been intensely MIA (Jordan's been shooting all week and I've been trapped in my own personal Office Space hell) and sadly our streak is about to continue as we are both about to fly the coo coos nest. Young Jordan is heading to Austin City Limits to see my dream man, give or take 40 years, Bob Dylan, and I am heading south for a whale of a time in good ole' San Diego. The things we do for friends....anyways quickly before I'm run out the door here are a few things to entertain yourselves this weekend...and I hope you've all missed us and are awaiting our comeback Tuesday morning...we'll be hitting you full effect kissssssses...Audrey
Drop it like its hot...your credit card that is because DNA is having a parking lot sale with prices of 5-15 dollars...The sale is only today and tomorrow so be sure to head to either the Hollywood or Venice locations to score some great goods deeply discounted, its their first parking lot sale in 5 years...so who knows when the next one will be!
Get you freak on....at least your freaked out on by seeing the Exorcist tonight in the Hollywood Forever Cemetery...tonight is the last screening of the season so grab a lawn chair, a picnic basket, and your favorite ghoul (sorry i couldn't resist) and head on down to the cemetery for a good time...its the perfect way to start getting in the mood for Halloween (only my favoritish holiday ever) click here for more info
Back in the day....head to Kroq's inland invasion to catch some seriously old school headliners Smashing Pumpkins, Foo Fighters, Velvet Revolver, Chris Cornell and ahem...Kid Rock...what? he's a cowboy baby....
That's my jam...Need a lovely little lunch/brunch place this weekend? Try the Blue Jam Cafe on Melrose...The service is friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating, the menu is extensive, the food was incredible (especially the cheesecake and the Steak Bistro Salad), and if you sit outside the people watching is unbeatable...
